2/ A product I’m beta testing


I’ve always wanted a tool to organize my screenshots from various product screens, or unique avatars, or random passages from books. The problem is it eventually gets buried in my photo album or download folder and I never find it again. mymind provides an elegant solution to that. It was created by the eclectic designer Tobias van Schneider and helps organize my chaotic digital inspiration through a browser extension. I love reading company manifesto’s and theirs is great—this one is good too.

Figure out who’s on your team

Look around and figure out who you want to be on your team. Figure out the people around you that you want to work with for the rest of your life. Figure out the people who are smart & awesome, who share your values, who get things done — and maybe most important, who you like to be with and who you want to help win. And treat them right, always. Look for ways to help, to work together, to learn. Because in 20 years you’ll all be in amazing places doing amazing things.

6/ A breathing exercise I tried

Relaxed breathing tells your body you’re safe. That way, your forebrain (prosencephalon) doesn’t need as many resources as it normally does and that extra energy can be sent to your hindbrain (rhombencephalon), which can reroute resources like sleep quality, wakefulness etc..to the rest of your body.

  • Inhale for a count of 4

  • Hold your breath at the top for a count of 4

  • Exhale slowly for a count of 4

  • Hold your breath at the bottom for a count of 4

  • Repeat
